Volunteer Mentor, Cathy, represents just one of the many remarkable client service volunteers at the CPC.
“I just knew the Lord wanted me to get involved,” she says. “I knew right away that mentoring was the scariest component to volunteer for, but knew based on my experiences, this really was what God wanted me to do.”
When asked what she’d say to someone who doesn’t think they have anything to offer to a ministry like the CPC, Cathy tenderly challenges not to let that be a hindrance.
“You would be amazed at what I call your resume of life and what it has on it. It can be used. You would be shocked! It’s scary when you think you’re going to be put out there. But you have to be transparent and trust that the Lord will direct your path.”

The Cleveland Pregnancy Center desires to operate in a spirit of unity and partnership with local churches. This is done with the aid of volunteer representatives, where we can be an arm of the church and Christ.
The CPC offers church members experiencing an unplanned pregnancy or who has experienced an abortion the full range of our services. In turn, churches are able to provide the CPC with volunteers, prayer support, and financial support. Also, by participating in our Baby Bottle, Life Walk and Baby Shower Fundraisers, churches contribute to the continued good work of the CPC for the kingdom of God.
If you are interested in learning more about how you or your church can get involved, please contact Bob Hershey at 440-243-2520, ext 103, or via email at cpcbobh@sbcglobal.net. Also, call to find out if your church is currently being represented for the CPC.
